1. Parties

• This QuranCast platform and mobile application ("App") has been developed and is operated by Bilal Ahmad, an entrepreneur and educationist ("QuranCast", "we", "us" or "our").
• This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you, the user ("you" or "your"), and QuranCast governing your use of the App and any content, tools, AI-powered features, help documentation and all services under the control of QuranCast that are operated in connection with the App, including the QuranCast website (collectively, the "Services").
• By creating an account and using our Services, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use QuranCast.

2. Service Description

• AI-Powered Quranic Learning: QuranCast provides an AI-based teaching platform that helps users learn and improve their Quranic recitation through advanced artificial intelligence technology.
• Video Submissions: Users can record and submit their Quranic recitations for AI analysis and feedback.
• AI Teacher Feedback: Our AI system analyzes your recitations for Tajweed rules, pronunciation, and provides detailed, personalized feedback to help you improve.
• Progress Tracking: The platform tracks your learning progress, watch time, and improvement over time.
• Community Features: Users can interact with the QuranCast community, view public recitations, and learn from others.
• Account Creation: You must create an account using Google, Facebook, or email authentication.

3. Platform Access

• The App is available on web browsers, Apple iOS, and Google Android devices.
• Compatibility may vary based on your device and operating system version.
• You are responsible for internet connectivity costs and data charges.
• We reserve the right to update, modify, or temporarily suspend the Services for maintenance.

4. User Content & Intellectual Property

• Your Content: You retain ownership of your recitation videos and submissions.
• License to QuranCast: By uploading content, you grant QuranCast a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, analyze, store, and display your content for the purpose of providing AI feedback and improving our Services.
• AI Processing: Your recitations will be processed by our AI systems to provide feedback. This processing is essential to the service.
• Public vs Private: You control whether your recitations are public or private. Public recitations may be viewed by other users.
• QuranCast Content: All AI-generated feedback, platform features, design, and technology are owned by QuranCast.

5. AI-Powered Features & Limitations

• AI Accuracy: While our AI teacher strives for accuracy, it is not a substitute for human Islamic scholars or certified Quran teachers. AI feedback should be used as a learning aid.
• No Religious Authority: QuranCast and its AI systems do not claim religious authority. For religious rulings or detailed Islamic guidance, consult qualified scholars.
• Continuous Improvement: Our AI models are continuously updated and improved based on user feedback and data.
• Data Usage: Your recitations and interactions help train and improve our AI models to provide better feedback for all users.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Upload content that is offensive, inappropriate, or violates Islamic principles
• Misuse the AI system or attempt to manipulate feedback
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our AI models
• Use the platform for commercial purposes without permission
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Upload copyrighted material without permission
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or compromise the security of our Services

7. Age Requirements

• Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
• Parents/guardians are responsible for monitoring their children's use of the platform.

8. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at admin@qurancast.co
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
• Upon termination, your access to the Services will cease, but we may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

9. Limitation of Liability

QuranCast is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our AI feedback is educational and should not be considered definitive religious instruction.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Pakistani courts.

• Account Information: Name, email address, profile picture (from Google/Facebook authentication)
• Recitation Videos: Your uploaded Quranic recitation videos and audio
• AI Interaction Data: Your interactions with the AI teacher, feedback received, progress metrics
• Usage Data: Watch time, session duration, pages visited, features used
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, browser type, IP address
• Performance Data: Tajweed accuracy scores, improvement metrics, learning milestones

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide AI Feedback: Process your recitations through our AI models to generate personalized feedback
• Improve AI Models: Use anonymized data to train and enhance our AI teacher's accuracy
• Track Progress: Monitor your learning journey and provide progress reports
• Platform Improvement: Analyze usage patterns to improve features and user experience
• Communication: Send important updates, notifications, and educational content
• Security: Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats

3. Data Sharing

• Third-Party Services: We use Firebase (Google), AI processing services (Google Gemini), and cloud storage providers
• Public Content: Recitations marked as "public" may be viewed by other users
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights
• No Selling: We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption, secure authentication, and regular security audits. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Rights

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Correction: Update or correct your information
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data
• Data Portability: Request your data in a portable format
• Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from marketing communications

8. Facebook Data Deletion

If you signed up using Facebook and want to delete your Facebook data, email us at admin@qurancast.co with the subject "Facebook Data Deletion Request".
